Are you an angel from above?

Brought to the earth to spread love?

Are you the devil from the depths of the earth?

Who surfaced for havoc and to rule this world?

 

As I look at your beautiful face,

That sparkling eyes, that you would sometimes keep

That ethereal smile, that melodious voice

I know that you keep a lot of stories yet to be told

 

Are you a prince from a faraway land?

A knight perhaps in search for someone?

Are you a child playing in glee?

Or are you just a man like the rest of us here?

 

You enchant the world through your voice

You make works of art worthy to hold

You speak in a language that is to us known

You break the barriers and make us whole

 

I look at you as you shine and glow

Hope and energy to us you bestow

You open your heart to those who listen

By the power of your song, to life we are driven

 

I still do not know who you are

Or why you’re here and alive

And yet when I look up at the night sky

I found the answer at last

 

Sailing down from her sanctuary

Is the golden moon in the sky, smiling

Through the glittering orb I saw your face
